Position Summary
We are looking for the ideal candidate for the position of Warehouse Leadhand. In this role, you will take charge of operations at our warehouse, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and timely execution. You will work closely with and provide support to the warehouse team, leading daily activities and helping drive continuous improvement.

Duties and Responsibilities
Primary
- Prepare and deliver Shift Report, Shipping Report, Finish Good Transfer Report and other KPI reports that are required to management.
- Ensure efficient and timely finished goods transfer from the warehouse.
- Ensure efficient and timely shipping of all finished goods, including proper paperwork and communication both internal and external, as well as cross-reference on Deacom for final quality release.
- Maintain accurate warehouse inventory including damaged materials.
- Lead and develop the team providing ongoing coaching, mentorship, and support.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain team to conduct inventory and cycle counts as needed.
- Check and help maintain equipment such as forklifts, shrink wrappers, and pallet jacks.
- Ensure all equipment and structure damage is reported promptly to Maintenance.
- Execute daily operational tasks.
- Escalate operational or personnel issues to the Director of Supply Chain as needed.
- Ensure the warehouse facility is kept clean and tidy. Collaborate with IT to improve current shipping calendar update to live update.
- Follow all applicable standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain safety, quality and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Drive and encourage department staff in the development and continuous improvement of all departmental processes.
Additional
- Report equipment malfunctions.
- Other related duties as specified by supervisor.
- Immediately report product quality deficiencies to supervisor.
- Offer suggestions for process improvement when identified.
Qualifications
Knowledge
- Fluent in verbal and written English.
- 3 years of experience in operational warehouse leadership.
- 1 year of people management experience.
- Experience using an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
Asset
- GMP Knowledge.
- Have a valid driver’s license with clean driver's record.
- Have a valid forklift license.
Skills
- Willingness to learn.
- Basic proficiency in mathematics (adding, subtracting, multiplying & dividing).
- Basic proficiency in using computers.
- Basic proficiency in using the Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong in warehouse operations.
